Miss Niki

Founder & Owner / Dance Instructor / Gymnastics Coach

Miss Niki began Dancekidz in 2004. She has been teaching for 25 years and is a certified gymnastics coach, as well as a member of the Canadian Dance Teacher Association — her true love is dancing with children at the preschool age. Niki started her professional dancing career in Toronto, Canada as a Toronto Argonaut Sundancer for the CFL, and performed in TV shows, award ceremonies and musical theater, her favorite role being "Mrs. Potiphar" in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. She toured South America and the Caribbean with Holland America Cruise Line as dance captain, was lead choreographer, dancer and singer at the Deerhurst Resort where Shania Twain started, and can be seen in movies such as Superstar, Cheaters, and Chicago as Catherine Zeta-Jones' sister.

Miss Maria

Director / Dance Instructor / Gymnastic Coach

Maria Mohrman has been a studio director and taught dance, fitness and leadership development for over 20 years. She trained for dance at studios in Detroit, LA and New York, and has earned numerous certifications in teaching, choreography and leadership. As director of a Detroit-based studio with over 350 students, Maria developed several award-winning competitive dance teams and ministries that performed across North, Central and South America. While focusing on technique, she also believes in building students' character — problem solving, proactive thinking and team building. Her philosophy uses movement through dance to impart knowledge, invest in students and impact communities. Her husband, Grant, and 3 children are a source of unconditional support and inspiration.

Miss Breanna

Office Manager

Breanna has always had a passion for kids, creativity, and bringing people together—so much so that after taking gymnastics classes for four years as a child, she started teaching her neighborhood friends her own gymnastics "classes!" Her passion for working with children and building community eventually led her to the YMCA, where she spent several years supporting children and families. Fun fact: Breanna is also a voice actor! Now, as Dancekidz LA's Office Manager, she's excited to help support a community that is changing lives, one dance step at a time.

Miss Kayla

Dance Instructor / Gymnastic Coach

Kayla Lynn was born and raised in Minnesota, where her mom owned a dance studio — that's where she discovered her true passion for the art of dance. A competition dancer who learned the value of versatility young, she trained as a dance major at a performing arts school from age 14. Her well-rounded training has given her experience dancing on stage and camera, and acting in commercials, movies and short films. She was recently on Tengo Talento Mucho Talento dancing Latin, and holds a BFA in Dance Theater from AMDA College of the Performing Arts.

Miss Amanda

Dance Instructor / Gymnastic Coach

Amanda is originally from Brazil and moved to America in 2021. She has always loved to dance, but has had a passion in her heart for Ballet since she was a young girl. Dance has been a tool to help her get through life's ups and downs and is so good for her soul, mind and body. Teaching and working with kids has been an amazing experience and opportunity for Amanda — she loves being able to give her students happiness and knowledge through the art of dance.

Miss Megan

Dance Instructor

Miss Megan grew up in the Santa Clarita Valley and has been dancing since the age of three and competing since the age of five. She started teaching at fifteen and has taught all ages from 18 months to adult, training under names such as Marty Kudelka and Terry Bixler. Competing mostly in hip hop growing up, it wasn't until high school that Megan took an interest in ballet and jazz. Now her main focus is jazz technique, her favorite style to teach, and she loves sharing her passion for dance with young kids.

Miss Tatiana

Dance Instructor / Gymnastic Coach

Miss Tati's love of teaching dance first began at 9 years old when she got to assist in the tiny toes ballet class at her dance studio. Once she started helping other younger dancers feel more confident in their movement... she was hooked! She started volunteering at her dance studio and her church's performing arts outreach classes as a junior teacher and never looked back.

Miss Elena

Dance Instructor

Miss Elena has always known she loved dancing. She started at the age of four and never stopped, falling in love with musical, jazz and hip hop at six. She performed in shows like Peter Pan and Wizard of Oz, and by 8th grade landed the lead role of Elle Woods in Legally Blonde — sparking her love for acting too. She placed first in state, county and district dance contests. In high school she discovered contemporary and modern dance, now her specialty, and loves telling a story through movement. She moved from Michigan to LA to pursue her dreams and is a recent graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Elena's goal is to inspire kids to join the performing arts.

Miss Georgi

Dance Instructor

Miss Georgi grew up in Santa Clarita and has been dancing for over 10 years. Her love for dance began after watching Dancing with the Stars and convincing her parents to enroll her in classes. She spent five years dancing competitively and developed experience across a variety of styles, with hip-hop becoming her favorite — during her senior year she was recognized as Dancer of the Year for her hip-hop solo. For the past two years she has enjoyed sharing that passion with the next generation as a dance instructor, encouraging her students and helping them grow in confidence. Looking ahead, Georgi hopes to one day own a dance studio of her own.

Miss Deanna

Dance Instructor / Gymnastic Coach

Deanna DiFranco is a dancer and educator from Bucks County, Pennsylvania. She trained at summer intensives with Joffrey Ballet School and Princeton Ballet School, then earned her BFA in Dance from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, where she performed with the hip-hop company I Am Phresh. After graduating, she completed Broadway Dance Center's Professional Semester in NYC and performed on America's Got Talent. Deanna spent two years in the New York dance industry before relocating to Los Angeles in September 2025. She discovered a passion for teaching while running her own dance camp and is excited to combine her love of performance with inspiring young dancers at Dancekidz.

Miss Natasha

Dance Instructor / Gymnastic Coach

Natasha has been dancing since she was 3 years old and is excited to now inspire the next generation of dancers! She has been teaching dance since 2019 and is trained in ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip-hop, tap, and tumbling. While attending the University of Southern California, Natasha continued her dance training through the USC Kaufman School of Dance, where she had the opportunity to take classes from professional choreographers. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Natasha grew up dancing and competing throughout the LA area. She loves being able to share her passion for dance with young dancers in the same community where her own love of dance began. Natasha is excited to bring her experience, energy, and love of dance to Dancekidz!
